"Jing Ying FC was established in 2016 and has been playing competitive football in Hong Kong ever since. Initially formed among a group of friends, the team has steadily expanded over the years and has been a consistent performer in the top division of the SS Leag for the past few seasons, most recently claiming a league and cup double in the 2021/22 season.

However, the results on the pitch were not always so rosy. In the first three months following
its inception, Jing Ying suffered 11 consecutive defeats before claiming its first victory in
December 2016. Since then, Jing Ying has continued to go from strength to strength,
gradually expanding the squad and moving up the divisions.

Since reaching the top division, Jing Ying has transitioned from a relegation candidate to one
of the most consistent top-half performers in the league. It most recently finished as runners-up in the SS Leag First Division for the 2022/23 Season. Jing Ying is ready to take the next step in their journey and looks forward to challenging for honours in the Legal League for the upcoming 2023/24 season.
